In honor of April being National Autism Awareness month, we are launching a campaign to raise money and awareness for ACT Today! for autism. The portrait campaign consists of studio portrait sessions of children who are inspired to help kids and families living with autism. A Kid ACTivist is a kid who cares, a kid who has a friend with autism, a kid whose brother or sister has autism, or a kid who has autism themselves.

What to expect and what is included in The Fearless Kid ACTivist Portrait Session
The photography session by Mary Ann Halpin will be about 45 minutes in length.
A signed 8x10 gift portrait included in the session. Additional portrait print sizes will be available for purchase. Price list is available upon request.
A viewing/ordering session will take place immediately after the photo shoot. This will be your time to choose your portraits. This will take an extra half hour. Please allow the time.
Each Kid ACTivist in a photographic collage will be featured in Westlake Magazine.
Each Kid ACTivist featured in the photographic collage will appear on the Reuters billboard in Times Square, NYC, and will appear simultaneously in the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip in Las Vegas and receive a digital file of the billboard to share with friends and family online. (Date TBA)
Each Kid ACTivist will be featured on the ACT Today! website and get an award certificate.
Each Kid ACTivist will be eligible to be in the Kid ACTivist Calendar for 2014.
Two different studio locations and dates to choose from:
Locations include Mary Ann Halpin Studio in Hollywood, CA and a one day photo session will be available in Orange County, date and location TBA.
After you make your donation of $297 to ACT Today! for the photo session, please call Mary Ann Halpin Studio, 323-874-8500. You will then reserve your session time and receive the address to the location you choose along with further details. Donation nonrefundable.
Please no cameras or video recorders allowed at the sessions other than Mary Ann Halpin and her team.
What to wear and bring to the photo session:
Each Kid ACTivist or kids with siblings will be photographed in their favorite hat, outfit or costume that reflects the fearless Kkid ACTivist that they are!
Bring any props if it has meaning to the Kid ACTivist having his/her portrait taken.
The portraits will be photographed on a white backdrop, so colorful clothing is wonderful!
Bring two outfits to choose from. If time permits, two changes may be photographed.
