Erica has worked in the field of education for over twenty years as a teacher, trainer, editor, and writer. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Tufts University and her Master’s degree in teaching from National-Louis University. She was born in the Chicago area and moved to Los Angeles in 2005. Today, she lives with her husband, eight-year-old daughter, and two golden retrievers.
She joined the ACT Today! Team in March 2018, where she hopes to bring awareness and support to families seeking help. She is passionate about lifelong learning and loves any opportunity to be both the teacher and the learner. Erica has always loved reading and writing and is excited to share inspirational and helpful autism news with as many people as possible.
Erica spends her free time reading, watching movies, learning and trying new recipes, and taking long walks and hikes with her family and dogs. Se habla espanol!
