ACT Today’s Executive Director Receives The Humanitarian Award

The Caucus for Producers, Writers and Directors honored ACT Today’s Executive Director Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson at the 12th Annual American Spirit Awards Luncheon. Alspaugh-Jackson received the Humanitarian Award for her dedication to autism awareness, resources, and treatments. Co-Chair of The Caucus, Tanya Hart, presented the award to Nancy. The Caucus praised Nancy for her unrelenting work in giving a voice to many people who otherwise would not have one. Her distinguished career in television and autism advocacy helps her to affect the lives of many and to truly embody the American Spirit. Surrounded by colleagues and friends, Alspaugh-Jackson gave an inspiring speech. “It is such an honor for me to be recognized with The Caucus American Spirit Humanitarian Award for the achievements of ACT Today! in helping over 1400 families get treatment for their children with autism,” says Alspaugh-Jackson.
